OC: Sabita Reference Sheet (Adopted)

"Rebel, please try to take it easy on her."

Soft and motherly, Sabita spoke gently to her steamed mate. The heated tension in his eyes was unmistakable, and it would take some doing to calm him back down. She thought back to his younger days when he would so easily fly into a fit of rage just because he could. Now, in his older age and growth of wisdom, he had become less of a hot-head, but his tendency still remained. It took much more to push him to his limit, but their daughter had certainly done so this time.

Tender blue eyes watched as Rebel paced about, muttering and mumbling to himself. His tussled feathery-hair looked as ragged and wild as he appeared to feel. Sabita sighed softly and stepped up next to him. He was larger than she, but she never felt intimidated by him. She knew him. She'd known him for a long time. There was nothing she feared about him, save for one day losing him.

"Dear," she began gently, halting him with her words. "It's alright," she promised, her voice soothing. Gently, she nuzzled her mate's snout, offering more encouragement behind her words. At her touch, she felt his tension release almost instantly. He needed her, and she knew that.

<sub>In honor of the new discovery of the Dakotaraptor, I made a character!
This is Sabita, whose name means "rusty" in Japanese, based off of her coloration. I had a lot of fun designing her, though I still need a lot of practice with drawing braids. x_x Besides... how can a raptor put a braid in, anyway? O.o
Sabita is the mate to Rebel. Yes, they are two different species of raptors, but they are still raptors. Rebel is a Utahraptor, while Sabita is a Dakotaraptor.

They have a daughter, who should be making an appearance here soon... =3</sub>
